I was filling my coach yesterday and a 20-something kid cones up to me all excited about my GMC. He knew about the mechanicals, and such. It gave me a wild hair to go to the car show today.

A little bit after I arrived, this nice little HHR panel with a 408 built on a chevy S-10 Blazer chassis showed up.

The Bel-air fins are a kit. How cool is that.

I met a few other folks here that have or had GMC's in the past. I also met a really nice couple who have Five coaches here in the valley. If you are reading, this, please PM me so we can get together. There are a few more Parts I thought about that I could use off of your parts coach, such as the gutter cap on the pass side, and an awning if you are interested in selling one.

My GMC got a lot of attention, (Perhaps because I washed it) All ages.

I plan on going next sat as well.

The weather was 80 Degrees and breezy.

I may hit another show Saturday. I like having the GMc there for folks to look at and ask questions. Does not hurt to have the dish up and Speed Channel on.
Thanks for the picture Chris.

I've taken alot of cars to car shows, but never the GMC as I have had it only 11 months. It's first show will be the downriver suburbs of Detroit's version of the Woodward Dream Cruise on June 26th. Here's a link, in case anyone else in the area is interested in going:

Hi Chris

Thanks for the pictures from the car show.

Do you know of any other car or RV shows or events in AZ in July.
Yea I know wrong time of year. We will be making our annual trip to spend July 4th in ShowLow and then another 2 or 3 weeks in Phoenix.

Thanks

The Scottsdale show is every Saturday. Has been a standing thing for 20 yrs. It is free, no need to sign up. Just roll in and park in the right section.

They have one monthly on Main Street in Mesa now too. I need to check that one out.

Sorry Guy,

Mine isn't show quality and it will be at the Soo Locks (Sault Saint Marie)that Friday for Engineers Day. They let people get close to and see the actual operation of the locks.

This is going to be good for me. I've been through the locks countless times, but never stepped on the ground there before.

I am planning to run the Woodward cruise. I get to sit in the passenger seat while my wife drives and I look at all the neat hardware.

Matt
