Ken,
Well I tried the TBI on the 454 but could never get the chip right so now I have been running the Qjet and things are sweet. I know that I can get the Qjet down the road and the guy in the shade of the tree can work on it. As to Vapor lock, I don't get the "chicken wire" thing. Did I miss something? Anyway, I am sure that it is a fuel issue and as Jim K. said, we will all have to deal with that.

Jim K. said he did not install insulation on the bottom of the tanks because it might blow or fall off. I told him to cover the insulation on the bottom of the tank with chicken wire to keep it from falling off.

Chuck,
Things have changed in the TBI world: DynamicEFI.com's EBL Flash
upgrade for the computer makes "getting the chip right" almost
automatic. A unbelievably great improvement. So if you've still got
the TBI, you may want to try it again. Let me know if you want to
join our GMCMH-EFI Google Group for more info.

Thanks, Ken. I received my acknowledgement and look forward to learning
more from GMCMH EFI. I have a Turbocity TBI, since 2005, when it was
installed. Really happy with it.
