Is there someone in the Seattle area on this list that has a GMC Royale with the rear dry bath and twin beds that we could look at? Specifically, I want to measure the twin beds to see if they're long enough for us.
I have looked at many coaches on the web and this model and layout seems like it would be the best for our use. It would be great for my wife to see one before I go chasing one down, and they mostly seem to be out of state and MANY miles away from where we live.
The only GMC that I have seen is the one that is for sale in Edmonds, but it's rougher around the edges than I'm looking for and is an Edgemount with a full bed in the rear and a dry, side bath.
We're both six feet tall and normally sleep on a cal-king mattress (84" long). Most beds in RV's are too restrictive in length for us. Also, though I am willing to consider a wet bath, the rear bath, though it eats up a little more space in the coach, seems like it is more open and airy, allowing more space to move, particularly when using the shower. There's always more perception of space when using a shower curtain than being enclosed in fiberglass.

Since you are in Seattle area I would suggest you look at the Cascaders Website. I think you can view the "for-sale" as a guest. If not contact Tony Wright in Kirkland and I'm sure he will grant temp access to the Cascaders' "for-sale". I'd be glad to help except I'm off to Canada early Sun on a fishing trip. My email is rwbmitiopt at comcast.net and I will be back in a week or so if you still need help.

Jackie: not sure how your head hits the top of the shower....ours measures exactly 6' and I am also 5'6" and find it more than comfortable. do you have a false floor in it? perhaps to bring it to the level of the entry door?
