I have the brake booster in but for lack of a cotter pin it isn't done. I could have used wire but as hard as it is to get to I'm taking no half measures.It fought me as hard going in as it was coming out. I can see why JimK's mechanics hate doing a booster R&R. I hope this is a last time for me as well. The list gets shorter...

You do want to uae the cotterpins.
Many years ago a shop did not put a pin in and the pin dropped down
when we stopped for the night.
