I am passing on a question from a Newby...I think I know the answer but
being totally inept mechanically I prefer an input fromthose who are
ept<VBG>

Changed the subject
The answer to the question is yes and no. The yes means that you can
use the new/rebuilt parts from the autoparts store as a base to renew
your old axles. The no is that they are the incorrect length to work
in our coaches.
Here is a tutorial on rebuilding the CV joints.

If you are not that mechanically inclined then you need to buy rebuilt
assemblies from Jim B or Jim K.

But even that answer needs to carry a caveat: Some of the replacement axles
are now all-new imports from which the CV also-new (and incompatible) CV
joints cannot be removed. One needs to insist on REBUILT Toro axles so that
the CV joints can be moved to the GMC axle shafts.

As others have posted, the straight answer is "no" ...but the parts MAY be usable. Unless you like mixing and matching parts with rebanding boots, go to one of the Jim's.
