Quote 23' RV wrapAll,
Thought I'd pass this on for those interested in comparing different wrap shops. Don't know of their quality, but just one more vendor to think about.

Subject: Quote 23' RV wrap

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to quote your vehicle wrap. Below is
a detailed description of pricing, design, equipment, materials, printing, and
installation.

The cost to completely wrap your 23' RV excluding the roof and
including windows with full color digital graphics would be $5,700
printed and installed + shipping of graphics.

We have 3M certified installers located all over the country, including IL.
If we cannot locate an installer within an 1 hr from your location an
additional trip charge may apply. A clean, climate controlled indoor
facility is required for our installers to come to your location, or
you may opt to bring the vehicle to one of our installers locations.

*** EXTENDED SPECIAL, DESIGN 50% OFF (ONLY $300 limited time) ***
Design is offered for a separate charge of $600 with client supplied
elements which includes your initial mockup and 2 complete revisions.
We can provide templates (for most vehicles) and file specifications,
free of charge, if you would like to provide your own artwork.

We use premium materials: 5 year removable vinyl - 3M Controltac180-C with
clear laminate, optically clear window film and certified installers. All
graphics printed on our HP Designjet L65500 Latex machine providing the
highest quality print and resolution (at true 1200 dpi) as well as being
certified by 3M as the most environmentally friendly large format printer on
the market.

Turnaround time is typically 10 days (or less) from receipt or sign off of
print ready artwork. The install process is 1 full day. A 50% deposit is
required on all jobs to begin printing.

Our other in house services in addition to vehicle wraps include:
Banners any size/qty, window/wall/floor graphics and POP/Tradeshow graphics.

Please feel free to call if you have any questions or would like to move
forward with a wrap.

Thank you for considering Monster Media Inc.

Well, my wife has, maybe, 60 different outfits in her closets, why shouldn't my girlfriend have a wrap?

Since when has cost been an obstacle?

Me too Harry, but this is interesting stuff. I guess it is what Nascar uses now and it sure looks good on those cars. I wonder if the price will come down after a while when more people start using it? I wonder what the lifespan is on it. Mine sits outside so that might shorten the lifespan.
Just interesting technology. thanks for sharing it with us.

When Darryl Waltrip had his own race team, he had a car covered with chrome mylar. It looked good. I think it was #17.
You could get a coach wrapped in camo and no one would see you.

The problem with camo is when I drive up to the dream cruise in detroit I would have to paint it like burned out buildings and stripped out cars along the road! ha ha ha.

Sorry, I was at a Tigers game on Sunday and Detroit is officially dead, and that is coming from a guy who lives in TOLEDO!

3M certified is the trick. I was certified about four years ago. The 3M
training
is excellent. Try to find a shop that does vehicle wraps as their primary
business.
While I was certified, I have never done a full wrap. I wouldn't put a wrap
on my GMC, mainly because of the life cycle of the printed product. Most
large format printers will offer 5-7 year vinyl. That's for the vinyl. Ask
how long the printed color will last, how long it will look good and how
well it resists UV.

If you're coach is full time garaged or under cover this may be a mute
point. Also, ask to see a couple of their jobs. Preferably something 3-4
years old. Look around hinges, under rocker panels etc. Preparation is
key. Otherwise you may have edges peeling back. 3M material is about the
best (IMHO). Controltac is 3M's premium stretchable vinyl. Real good
stuff, I have used it often, but never on a total wrap,

I've been in the sign and graphics business for over 20 years. Just my two
cents.

Best of luck,

Tom Eckert
