Ray,
There's a reason why there are so many incredible deals out there and
the closer you get, the more the incredulabilty diminishes. There are
also a lot of very fussy buyers out there who will not settle for
anything less than what they know they want. There's a reason why
most of those coaches are for sale, and will stay for sale.
If you bought a dozen, at least 11 of them would be in much worse
shape than they are already by the time the market picked back up.

I guess I am what you would call a "fussy buyer"
I spent nearly 4 years off an on looking for a GMC that I really liked.
Started looking at stuff for $4,000 to restore and realised you could sink $20,000+ into a rig like that no problem (not counting labour)
It came down to finding the very best one I could afford, and that ment springing for the Explorer.
Not cheap, but worth it IMO.
BTW,I found out that even spending well over $20,000 on a unit does not mean you are immune from problems, since buying mine I have:
Removed and repaired the Onan generator.
Replaced the missing wiper motor and linkage.
Replaced front brake pads.
Replaced rear Firestone Air bags
Cleaned and repaired furnace
Re-Sealed Roof
Re-Charged dash A/C
Changed 6 tyres
Replaced electrical diverter box
Replaced rusty battery tray
Repaired rear table support
Fixed water line chewed through by mouse
Changed all belts and hoses on engine.
I'm sure I have forgotton some of the other stuff I have done as well.
All this on a unit that only has 21,000 miles on it from the Explorer restoration in 1996.
Owning one of these things is like having another house, there is ALWAYS something to be attended to!

Welcome to our new economy, everyone needs $$$, but no one has any, so things you never though about parting with are suddenly expendable...
