Also be sure to clean the area under the module & use the heat sink grease that comes with the module. I once bought an Olds Cutlass cheap because the PO kept having to replace the modules. I guess he figured he was pawning off a lemon. When it quit on me, I replaced the module & noticed that the grease had not been put on the bottom to transfer the heat away to it's mounting surface. I used carb cleaner on a clean shop rag & cleaned where it mounted, put the grease on the module's mating surface & installed it. It never had trouble again. One day I was checking the oil & the PO stopped & asked me if I was changing the module. I said yes, a year ago. I don't think he was too happy when I told him what he was doing wrong, because he never came back... It pays to read the instructions...
