G'day,

Along with the Black list here are two more that are helpful:

--------------------------------------------------------

Suppliers, Service & Repair and Publications Listing (8 pages)

http://www.bdub.net/GMCSupplierLinks.html

Download the list in any of these printable formats.
The .pub file is in the form of a 1/2 page booklet.
The xls file is great for importing to your PDA contacts.

PDF Doc pub xls

--------------------------------------------------------

Local GMC Service Provider Recommendations (5 pages)

http://www.bdub.net/GMCServiceComments.pdf

I am currently updating this list. I was going to incorporate all the major
vendors found in the first list in this list UNTIL I found the list above.
No need to re-invent the wheel!

--------------------------------------------------------

Rob,

What do you think of the idea to combine all of these
lists into one document?

Rob,

I'm glad you found this list. I'm going to work on getting this normalized
and then put it into BatchGeo, which Ken so wonderfully pointed out to us.
This list is as valuable as the Black List.

When I'm done I'll put it on the ES site along with the Black List in
BatchGeo (which I just did).

Byron

Bukzin,

I assume you are speaking of the Black List, Local GMC Service Provider
Recommendations, and Suppliers, Service & Repair, and Publications Listing.

I would respect anyone that's willing to do the work of combining them but I
can't see why it's necessary.

In fact an argument could be made that it is nice to have separate lists as
they list different information.

Once you know that they exist you can create a folder on your PC or laptop
or print them out.

Come to think of it separate lists would be better for printed out copies as
you would have to print as many pages.

Rob,

I concur. I've listed Eastern States members (which will be in the Members
Only area of our website) but will list the local service shops and post it
separately to the Eastern States website. Other websites are welcome to do
the same.

When I first started looking for a coach, I printed out all kinds of
information and had two binders - one for maintenance & repair projects and
one for the cosmetics. Since then I have assembled a third binder. It has
the Black list printed out. In the front pocket I have the members roster
and the grand high exalted GMC bible - the GMCMI Parts Interchange booklet
which includes parts, service and repair facilities. AND you get it FREE
when you join GMCMI.

The GMCMI parts book list a few service and repair shops in the back.
