Dave,
I think it would be great to have the registry mapped, even if you included
no information except the locations (the program has that flexibility as far
as additional info, I'm not sure whether you can omit addresses -- but you
could easily eliminate street addresses and just let it plot towns or zip
codes -- it will use what it receives, AFAIK.
One caution: The program offers a recommendation to not plot over 500
addresses in one pass, then asks if you want to continue. I did continue
with the 774 Black List addresses and it processed them with no problem.
I'm not sure what would happen with your 7000+ addresses. Certainly
wouldn't hurt to try though, if you have the patience.

I zoomed in on "my" pin and could see my '73 from space. The map is a few years old... no 23 foot in the parking corral.
I would be VERY concerned about a detailed accurate map if there was a market for stolen GMC's or parts. I do not think there is...
A map by ZIP code would probably be close enough for a registry map.
