Any GMC with a TZE267V and most beginning TZE3 will have dry baths The
TZE2s will have side baths and include 1976 Edgemontes and 1977 PB, Kings
& EL IIs. The TZE3's may be side or rear baths and the models are
numerous; Royales, Avions, Norris, Hughes, Eldorado, RollAlong,
ReddiKamp, BiziBody, Funcraft, Foretravel, Excaliber, Midas, with
Coachmen producing most in the Royale model.

Ok, so does having a dry side bath mean that there's room to modify one of the twins in the back to make it longer? That is the issue. I'd be better with a rear bath Royale, which seem to be in plentiful supply, if one of the beds can't be lengthened into the closet. Of course, I could always clean out the rear compartment and make an east-west bed, but that means someone has to crawl over. Or Stick has to sleep on the sofa.

Stick,
Any side bath model I've seen by any upfitter has the bath on the driver
side. There's always, it seems, a closet on the passenger side. The side
bath Royale has a narrower closet than something like the Edgmonte. But,
there'd be enough room to lengthen the bed and raise the bottom of the
closet. Our friend, Bobby Moore, put cabinets over the feet of his rear
twins when he totally gutted the interior and put things back as he wanted.
If you want a standard unit without modifying, then an Avion would be your
best bet.
No comment about your value/pricing guideline other than to say "good luck."
