I carry only liability on my coach with Progressive ($120/yr) and am considering going with Geico and a comprehensive (glass, mostly) coverage for $160/yr. $40/yr versus what, about $500 perside installed for a windshield? They said they wouldn't cover it under an agreed value policy but if I had full coverage, they'd figure out what to pay me once I had a loss (yeah...). What am I, a cave man??
What coverage do most folks with average coaches carry and what is the premium?

As far as I know, Progressive is it for an agreed value policy these days. I wouldn't travel in anything but a junker GMC without an agreed value because that adjuster is going to screw you bad if they every have to pay out on anything else. Seems to me like you're trying to protect your windshield by giving up your agreed value for the rest of the coach. That's not a trade I'd make unless I hadn't done much to the coach and had 5K or less in it.

I have State Farm. Full coverage include 100% on glass costs me about $350/year. The tell me that if I can document what is in the coach they will give me replacement cost - I can. I recently had a rock hit the windshield and they put new glass in and a new gasket - that is for both sides. I don't know what might happen the next time insurance is due because of that - I am sure it was pretty pricey.

I'm not trying to get a fight started but those prices seem pretty low. We've beaten agreed value to death in other posting but, are you guys carrying adequate liability limits?.
Doesn't take much to do a LOT of expensive property damage if you whack a couple new cars. Then there's the injured guys or gals.
PS: Combined limit ($250K) on property and liability would let you sleep at night. Easy to put an Umbrella policy on top if you want to sleep even better.
YMMV

my liability is 250K/500K bodily injury and 100K property damage. 500 deductible comprehensive and collision. Apparently the deductible does not apply to glass (some kind of AZ law?) and I have since added towing just in case Good Sam doesn't pay. My last bill was $339 for a year ending in October. As I said, it may go up once they see how much that windshield cost. I have 2 other vehicles and 3 houses insured with State Farm so I am sure I get some kind of discount. Also, insured as low annual mileage which does provide a discount.

We have Progressive 29K agreed value 300K/5K comp with a $125 deductible and roadside assistance. It's $628 a year. Got an umbrella to cover over that. Roadside is way less $ than Good Sam.

Yeah, that sounds more in line with my experience with Explorer (or was it National Interstate?) thru FMCA. We had $45K Agreed value (higher Deduct ($500 or $1,000) and liability is a bit more expensive in Connecticut.
