Hi Guys,

It's been quite a while since I have been on the net. It's nice to be back,
but I now find that I need to sell my 77 Royale. It is in the middle of a
conversion to an all electric coach. Interior is clean and pergo floors
installed. Coach has Winterfeldt engine and transmission with a 3.42 final
drive. Needs new black and grey tanks. Rear bath with tub. Commode needs to
be replaced.

First $10k takes it.

I'm planning to keep my PB and 23 footer.

Henry

Henry live "off the grid" in Ashfork, AZ. No building codes there and
a lot of folks have engineered all sorts of ways to generate
electricity and storage for same. He is also a guru on this topic and
has written more than one article for GMCWS on living on 12VDC.
How's it been going Henry?

The coach was partially gutted leaving the two beds, oine on each side.
Propane tank removed. Dinette removed. Flooring replaced with pergo. Broken
black and grey tanks removed. Toilet removed to be replaced with porcelain
version. Didn't have a generator when I bought it. Plan was to convert to
all electric with 4 T105 batteries in gen compartment and an added
inverter. Coach has roof ACs but dash was removed by PO.

Unfortunately Ash Fork now has codes and permit fees and inspections and
higher taxes ... county needs more money!

The house and landscaping continues to provide me amusement. We might get
some fruit off this year. House is complete except for baseboards and 3
pieces of interior trim.

Got "restructured" a year ago and have been looking ever since.

I haven't driven the PB in about 4 years - need to take it on a short drive
to get things lubed up again. I addes a 14' Isuzu box truck to the fleet 18
months ago for my wife's business and we've been driving it mostly since we
camp when she gets to a sales event any way.

Take care,

Henry

Henry;

I called you one day while you were traveling down I-40 and you
said you would call be back. I wanted to stop by and visit but didn't
know where you lived. You should have called me back! Next time I go
out on a 4 month walkabout (and I will) I'll make sure I'll get to
your place. Did you build the castle??

Hi Gary!

You called, I kinda got home - to massive amounts of mud on my road. Had to
be pulled to my parking spot by a backhoe. 3.5 miles of goop. No calls out
or in. Internet connection sometimes. Ah, the joys of living off-the-grid
and on a dirt road. But it's much better now!

Winter was pretty heavy here with 2 storms of more than 15 inches of snow.
And a bunch of smaller storms.

Irene's business of creating jewelry and dress accessories for historic
re-enactors is starting to take off. She's having some good success with
some Viking and Anglo Saxon re-creators. And this weekend her glass buttons
have found some new converts.

I'm busy reducing the amount of stuff that we have. House is built, Irene's
studio done, a new concrete block woodshop finished and a new fence around
the garden is started. I have a wall and another building to save for
before I build the castle. I hope to get everything else done in 2 years.
In the meantime, I have a 4 post automotive lift to install and 9,000
blocks ready for the projects.

Are you driving the GMC or did you finish the RTS conversion?

Best,

Henry
