I need the part number for the exhaust donut seals for my 1977 403 engine. Latest Parts book indicates:
GMC 387897
NAPA (FPG) 60241
The shop working on mine has received two different sets and neither one will fit.

Does anyone have any other part numbers?

It was suppose to be out of the shop yesterday. We are scheduled to leave town tomorrow morning.

Thanks in advance,

If you have the old donut style one, take it to any good muffler shop
and they should have a replacement. They come in several different
sizes from 2.1/8 (60241), 2.25" ( autozone#6936). Buy the highest
quality one you fine.

Hi,
I just replaced mine and the NAPA 60241 fir perfectly. The previous owner had replaced the spring loaded studs with solid bolts - a mistake. I couldn't find an exact replacement so I bought a couple of NAPA 600-1924 stud kits for the SS springs and used SS bolts from the hardware store.

An old trick is to use threaded rod with some washers with those
springs...it''ll get you to a shop with the right stud kit. Solid bolts are
a mistake...I agree.

Bob,

I saved the package from when I did my exhaust manifolds, and the donut gaskets I used were FEL-PRO #60241 (replaces #419163). Mine is a 455, but the package indicates that this part number also fits an Olds 400, 403,425, & 455 V-8, 1965 - 87

Hope this helps.
