G’day,

I followed Steve Ferguson’s photos to the letter when I reworked the lower
control arms for The Blue Streak here in Australia.

Here's a link to his album of 98 photos showing how to build bulletproof
lower control arms!

Here’s a link to a photo showing the first step of how to reinforce the
torsion bar sockets.

Rob, don't the later arms from '78 already have these reinforcements?

Mike,
You will find that this group has done more to improve the GMC than
any group you can gather.
When I purchased my first one in1980, There were considerable amount
of people that were coming up with ways to make it better and help
keep it rolling.
I was only a sponge and still am, but it is great that they keep me in
the loop and offer me the rights to develop kits and parts for the
community.
There are lot out there that wish we would vanish and disappear.
Having survived the Atomic bomb in Japan, it will take more to blow
out my slanted eyes.
