I've been contacted by a couple of single women who want a GMC. One
was introduced to GMC's from a former manfriend. They are interested
in a Royale with twin beds in the rear. Any help will be
appreciated. Location is near St. Louis. They are interested in a
ready to roll GMC.

Who is looking at the GMC Royale in Detroit on Craigs list? Are they
serious about it? Seems I read somewhere that someone was looking at
it.

Roger
Burns, TN really missing GMCES in Calhoun. Real Bad!!!!!

Roger,

While I was at the COOP getting the dash A/C straightened out, I saw a 78 Royale with twins beds in the back. He was asked by the owner to find a good home for it. You can see it on JimB's for sale site. Harry's coach. If I didn't have ANNIE, I think I just would. Not cheap, by ready to roll.

From Jim Bounds web site, "Harry's coach" is listed as a 1978 Royale "center galley". <http://gmccoop.com/for%20sale.htm>

No pictures of the insides... outsides are VERY nice. (I like how they duplicated the '78 Coachman graphics.) The window placement matches a "Center Kitchen" that did NOT come from Coachman with rear twins. BUT it has been redone by Cinnabar so it could have anything inside.

Farther down the page, The "76 royale 455 olds" listed by Don Hunter, looks to be a Rear Bath Royale might be of interest. It DOES have twin beds... just not in the rear. The ladies DO like the larger bathroom!

Farther down is "1975/76 GMC Royale Completely Restored Dry Bath Model" that might be the rear twin coach... windows look like some kind of "bed in the rear layout"... again no interior pictures. But the pictures of the outside (same side) look sharp! I like the "grayed" area below the windshields matching the lower edge of the coach windows.

Also there is some variation in the prices of these coaches.

I have to say, the Royale Center Kitchen is the best layout in my opinion. Wish I had one.

Having the kitchen on the curb side makes so much more sense as you are looking out the window at whatever event you happen to be at while cooking!

If it were easy to flip the wet bath on my Kingsley to the other side and forward, I would have done this, but it would have put the toilet too far ahead of the Black tank.
