Is anyone traveling 64 across Tn? Teri and I are holed up at the 64-I65 junction for the night. Will arrive at the rally Fri morning. Stuck a few photos of our today's 260 mile trip on the blog. Will have some of Eastern States on the photo site this weekend. This is going to be one rally I am glad we did not miss.
Dan

Hi Dan
I was checking out your pictures , I don't have a GMC motor home yet but I'm
thinking of a setup like you've got to carry a motorcycle , what's your bike
weigh. Had a problems carrying it like that? My bike weighs about 600# , I
might have to down size
Nice looking rig , I like the 57 too !
Regards Andy

Hey Dan ... you are just a few hundred miles north of us in Birmingham. Got the coach mechanically ready to go. Half day of work tomorrow and then we're off. We should be at Calhoun tomorrow night. Hope to see you Fri morning and please block the rain off somewhere in TN...

Thanks,

Hey Andy. Our scooter is a 150 and only weighs 250 lbs. We have carried it to the west coast and back with a Pontiac Vibe behind the scooter. Did not think we would need a car this trip so just threw the scooter on.
I had a fella approach me in Pulaski. He owns a 23 footer but not in any clubs.
Jeremy, will try to keep the rain to the north of us. None here yet.
Dan

Dan, Andy is an old friend of mine and I guess I got him interested in looking at GMCs. Really trying to get him to come to AZ and take a look at Steve's before it is gone. Has anyone carried a bike that heavy on the back of a GMC?

I'll be going through Louisville in the morning. I'll wave as I go by.

Are you coming on south with us to Georgia?

Ken,
I want to but I had committed to be at the Pacific Cruisers Rally as
the host asked me to be there to show and demo our Limited Slip
Differential and Chuck Augler's Reaction Arm System.
Next year I'll try to make it to Bean Station.

Jim,

Sorry we're not in Louisville to help entertain you. Gladly, however, we'll
be in Calhoun at the rally. Tell Peggy Ann I said "hello".

We had the best sleeping spot in all of Tn last night. Way out in the sticks. Left at 930 so they could mow the lot. Met some great folks. Hoping for a similar place to sleep tonight.
Teri is up on a hill looking for a geocache while I cehck into the net. Oh, I see she found it, gotta go.
Next year Jim,
Dan

At I65 & 64 is one of the best Steak Places around here Sarges Shack. I live in Decatur AL. We will see you at the Rally. I am about an hour south of you.

My RV is still on Jack Stands. I will take it down Monday and we will head out Wednesday. It is a one day trip from Decatur AL to the Rally.

Ok Art. Teri and I are leaving here Sunday and heading back to Missouri. Won't make Bean Station this year. I have spent a good bit of time in and around Decatur. Just before I met Teri I dated a girl from Moulton. We would head to Decatur on Sat. nite. My family is from Hamilton.
