Who made it?
Carefree, A&E or ZipDee?
Having had CF & ZD awnings on my coaches I do like the ZipDee
better. MPO
I would suggest a range of $475 to $550. JWIS

When we appraise a coach, Zip Dee definitely get considerably more value.
The others are not desirable.

Mike,
Here's the funny bit, I never noticed it!
David Greenberg brought it to my attention when I sent him an email to
change the ownership of Double Trouble from Skip & Barbara Newhouse to Helen
and myself.
He also told me that the 427 was an Eleganza so that means that my Avions
came off the production line in Benton Harbor one after the other.
What's the odds of the same guy owning these two Avions thirty years later
AND on opposite sides of the world!
ASTRONOMICAL!
Regards,
Rob Mueller

Looking at your TZE numbers, it would appear you will have to track down and
purchase TZE365V100427.... It will give you the complete set...<VBG>

Jim
What's so much better about Zip Dee than A&E...?
Thanks

I mentioned this elsewhere, but the middle-of-the-night windstorm we had while camping at Silver Strand last year sure made a believer out of me.
I bought both used Zip Dee awnings (one narrow, the other full width) from Miguel last year for $1300 IIRC after I read on here how strong they were.
Our GMC was swaying a LOT during that storm (gusts easily hit 50+ mph). I heard a lot of people yelling while they were trying to pull in their awnings. I decided not to take the risk of losing my grip, so I let them both stay fully extended instead. No creaking or wierd noises.
The next morning was unbelievable. There were a LOT of shredded awnings, bent poles, and torn out mounts on other RVs. Ours was unscathed and I never saw a Zip Dee anywhere that was damaged. Among the damaged ones were A&E and other brands.

A similar occurrence when best friends Gene Fisher (PB) and Al Chernof
(ELII) discovered via the Registry that their coaches were sequential.
One lives in CA and one lives in NM.
