Michael,
You need 16 X 6 DUALLY wheels off GM trucks manufactured before 1990.
There are multiple part numbers that will work. The key is GM changed
dually wheel design around 1990 to 1992 and the later model wheels won't
work. Any GM truck dealer can give you the part numbers. However last
time I priced new wheels they were $75+ each and the U-pick yards around
here usually have them for $15

I brought mine in Carthage, TX and all the junk yards had a large selection
of them.

8 lug wheels also come on Suburbans and non-dually 1 ton pickups and vans
and are also very common in junk yards. These do not have the same offset
and width as dually wheels. I have a pair off a suburban that I am going
to install on the front of my GMC to see if they will do the same job as
spacers for a fraction of the cost.

"8 lug 16 inch Chevy wheels, 12 in stock". So I drive the 35 miles to

thanks, guys, I got suckered in thinking all I needed was a 16", 8 lug
Chevy wheel-not so. There must be a specific part number, these wheels all
had part numbers, that apply to our coaches. Will someone be kind enough
to share that number??............Thanks,

Jim Bounds has wide tires on non-dually wheels on the front of Larry.

I understand they work rather well... on the front.
