Tom, I used PrepSol and/or mineral spirits and in extreme cases, acetone
(very carefully) Fusion dried very slowly (on vinyl) and stacked tacky;
especially in the sun. The DupliColor Vinyl & Plastic dried quickly, had
no issues with heat. Just my experience.
I will however, try the SEM products for the next project. Thanks for the
input.

David,
Dupont Prep Sol has been around forever. I have never used it on vinyl.
The SEMS VINYL PREP contains glycol ether and water.
I only have experience using SEMS products and they are very good if not the
best. IMHO.
I'll be heading to the Carlisle auto flea market this week. Eastwood is
always there and I will see if they still carry SEMS products. Probably
find it cheaper somewhere on the net.

I did a headliner and a set of vinyl bucket seats in a Nova once and
within an hour, I could sit on the seats. I saw the car a year later
and those seats still looked good. Headliner stayed perfect. I'm a
believer in SEM products.
