Dear Steve, I know the real reason for the sale of your beautiful GMC. You've run out of things to do to it!! So, I thought I would help you and I'm sure others will pipe in.
First,,motivation. Even if it has low miles I'm sure you'll want to "freshen" it up,,,so a Cad 540 stroker would work. No, NO, that won't work. I know, one of Dave Lenzi's kits and an L18 is the ticket. Ya that will work. Ok lets make a list,,, and since its gona GO really well, well you know whats next,,,,

12" front rotors{Hubler conversion},,check,,
4 discs on rears,,,check
Reaction arm,,,check
4 bager,,,check
Hot shots,,,check,,(how am I doing so far??)
New rubber,,check(of course)
Intermintent wipers from Ken H.,,check
Ok, I'll stop now,,,got alot more ideas. Now all I need to know is WHEN, I,ll ask for the time off because thats just TOO much fun for you to have all by your self. I,m glad I could help,,best regards,,,Paul{very envious) Leavitt

Hmmmmmm,
Maybe you have something here. I like it all except for the engine
choice. I have a fresh .030 HO 502 (actually, 509 cu in) engine
sitting on a stand in the shop that I'd love to have in a '23.

Paul,
This area, Cochise county, has been a favorite destination for bikers
for a lot more years than I've been here. Beautiful roads, and plenty
of interesting destinations. I'm surprised Dan and Terry haven't
geocached this place to oblivion. Much to do, much to see.
