Complete 75 Eldorado will be auctioned as soon as they get clear title I believe it is from an estate, It is located in Indianapolis, In at Christie's Auction. Any thoughts what it is worth for drive train parts only? I don't know if it runs but the Indiana plate is a 2004 expired. I am not interested but wanted to let the Cad 500 guys have a heads up. It will be sold at this auction facility I will post here on the net when it goes for sale.

$500.00 at the most unless it is very pristine.
Running or not, it costs the same to rebuild and I'd never install an
engine with doing this first.

Well any of the 500's would work, it is just that the 71 and 72 ELDO have most everything that you need in the front clip for a GMC conversion. See this:

Well, actually, the 75 is, far and away, the best choice for the
conversion. The only thing the 71-72 has
going for it is the front motor mount. And I have seven of those
if needed. The 76 would be an even
better choice except that many of them had smog pumps, but
changing the crank pulley takes care of that.
