Thanks for the invite to the rally y'all but my coach is no where near road
worthy. Still lots to do before we take our first trip in it. But again it
was very nice to invite. I promise the second this thing gets on the road we
will be at the first rally. As for the Tucson chapter I believe I Will join
thanks for the heads up guys.
Thank you all for everything.

Translation: You can go to a rally without your coach.
It is good to meet other members of the GMC cult. It can also help with motivation to continue with your rebuild as you look at others enjoying their coaches. Contact the club putting on the rally for options on sleeping accommodations.

Better translation.
Jim K. seldom shows up at a rally with his coach. Though he did bring it to Montgomery dragging Grace's Oldsmobile behind it. Or was it pushing it?

John,
Take the time and go to the rally. It will be worth the effort.
We went to our first and only (until we get to DuQuoin) international without our coach. My wife has contacted Emory. We could only get there for the last Sunday but I learned more about the coach in that day than I could ever have expected.
We were made to feel very welcome and it was only my first very pleasant GMC memory. When asked how long we had owned the coach I had to look at my watch.
Other thing that has helped me a great deal is the list of things to do. In your text editor (word processor), make a page with things to do under headings. My list has 5 headings: Waiting - (things I am hoping to get to soon). Winter work 201X (my 2010 list is just about clear) the things you know need to get done but don't want to take the time in the usable season, DONE - this list keeps track of when things got done (put a date in when you cut and paste to this list) and helps you appreciate the progress that you have made. Deferred - things that you want to do but have to wait until more money/time/parts are available. Abandon - those things you really might like, but are out of reach at this time (keep this list because the situation might change).
