You are welcome to join the group, but please do not hijack a thread as that makes it tough for the forum readers to follow the existing thread.
About a coach:
Please tell us where you are, someone here may know a good coach that has just come on the market.
If you are not a mechanic yourself, it is no problem to get the needed work done but it is not inexpensive to get it done right. (Why bother arranging to get the coach worked on if it will not end up being more reliable?)
Most good mechanics can work on the engine, but engines are simple. It is the suspension, steering and brakes (sort of in order of difficulty - not importance) that require familiarity.

To the Coulsons:
We have a number of members of this group that reside in in Ontario.
Unfortunately, I know from experience that Northern Ontario is a description of a VERY Large area. If you give us a hint, we might be more help.

Welcome, Shelley (it is Shelley Coulson - Right?)
For those not familiar with Canadian geography, Peterborough is not very far east from Toronto and a little ways off Lake Ontario.
We use real names here because we know each other but try not to publish @ddresses or phone numbers unless they are made so a bot can't easily recognize it. You can still have a different user name.
I know GMCMI has members in the area, and when it comes to GMCs, a native guide can be a valuable thing.
Something about a prior message has just set a flag. . .
You were worried about upgrading if you buy an older one (I think). The newest are 30 years old. There are more than a few that have had sincere updating and great mechanical renovation. I hope that is what you were trying to say. That is no reason to shy away. My coach (a '73) has had more up-time in the last three years than a neighbors '99 SOB (Some Other Brand) with many fewer miles. Unlike the kind that are a truck chassis with an aluminium covered stick frame box built on top, these are purpose built and have stood the test of time and travel.
