Well, missed another one,,and it just kills me. So much to do. I figure that I flat don't have time to work. Oh well. Now don't get me wrong with what i'm going to say. I missed the rapid city rally because of a murder trial, and then she pled guilty the friday before so I missed that one. But the Western States in Estes Park was great. Manny and Larry w/ a bunch of help changed a tranny and fixed it on the picnic table and I got to watch. how cool is that!!!! But the steepness and the gravel are tough on two wheels. The next one in Mich was cool , great seminars and the Gm coach was neet. But it was wet, rained alot,, others got stuck, grass was like a swamp. Ammana was great, more rain and did I mention WIND, and then more WIND. puddles etc. See that one foto of Larry W. on top of a coach,,,by the way it was WINDY. More gravel,,puddles, swampy. Then I see the great fotos from Montgomery,,, concreat curbs,,pavement, flat, paved spots. missed another one,,,bummer. PL,,,(ya, I know the solution,,go to more){thanks for the pics Dan}keep em coming,,,,,,

This no doubt is the best site so far, that I have been to. But, they have parked us in 3 large groups, seperate from each other. We also have pop ups and 5th wheels all around us. I intend to make a complaint about it to the appropriate people. But, that is a small thing so I am not too upset. I have control of the ice cream and that is the important place to be tonight.

You are very welcome for the pictures. I used to work. I would leave my office 3 times during the day when the conventions were going on. Arch always had lots of pictures and I enjoyed them. Just my way of returning the favor. Someone will have to continue this for me starting tomorrow as I will be busy at Jim K's table the rest of the convention.

Make sure that you sign up for our next convention in Du Quoin. That will be as close as it gets to Missouri folks, like you and me. Only 120 miles from Teri and me in Dexter.

So, enjoy all the pictures. I enjoy putting them up for you.

Yes, we have concrete, curbs, pavement, generally flat, level pads, a small
lake, a big meeting hall, indoor pool, and WIND.

Anyone want a used awning? I saw one go by just minutes ago. I think it
landed next to a fence.

The State Fairgrounds in DuQuoin should be a nice facility. My brothers used
to go to band camps there. I've only been for the fairs and the harness
races on that historic piece of property. I was sad to see the Meadowlands
get the rights to the Hambletonian. Still, will be a great location for the
fall convention.

I'm right there with you. I cannot believe how busy I have
been this year, between the job change, Snowmageddon,
cleaning out the basement to make an office, cleaning out the
garage to make cleaning out the basement possible, and on and
on. I keep thinking this will be the year when things slow
down, and they just keep getting more intense.

Wait until you retire... then you will find out what intense is.
