Is Jim K on the road? How is his coach doing.
Why are we not getting blow by blow information
on his progress. Are you afraid you will jinks him?

>Dan said Jim and Grace were entering Texas.

Dan and Teri have just left Austin, East on hwy 290, heading for Blue Bell Ice Cream in Brenham. May not make it before the tours close. Don't know if Jim and Grace are still with them or if they stayed on I10. ck Dan's blog for pictures, both coaches did well yesterday, spent the night in Ft Stockton.

Man, I made a left and was in the traffic in Austin for 30 minutes. Missed the ice cream. Got there after 5 and could not find the place. Jim's machine is a real mountain climber. That thing sounds good going by us. All is well and we will pull in tomorrow.
Thanks for checking on us. Was rain all day so not many good pictures. I will post what I have after Jim finishes his supper.

Hey, That Dan has a mean machine. He forced me to use my twin turbos
to pass him up.
I thought we were going to drive 55-60 MPH. Instead we were going
65-75. One time going up a hill I got it up to 85 pulling the van with
all the parts that scales in over 6,000lbs.

Every time I checked on Dan today he was doing 63 mph or 0 mph. It looked like he was dragging along with the anchor out waiting on you.

You need to get your speedometer checked.

Have a great time at Montgomery.

Dan, I'm still expecting to see the picture of the $100 bill changing hands.

Ken, I can not believe that data as we were keeping up with the trucks
and Going up hills and down is inducing an error as the satalight does
not measure .

Ken, you were looking at Tuesday, not Sunday and Monday.
We were pushing then. We eased up when we know were going to get there on time.

Every time we hit 65 plus my tracker is set to go off. I can not let folks know just how this thing really runs. Incriminating.

Yes, I was looking at yesterday (Tuesday) only. I thought he was going slow because he had you behind him.

Enjoy the rally. I'll see you in Illinois in the fall.

Jim only has 35 miles left to go. If it quits now just start the van and push it in there after dark tonight. We really want to see Frank hand over the $100.

Ken, I made sure that we had plenty of witnesses when we pulled in here this morning.
No tracking here. Left me out on the road.

LOL. Don't think I was not a bit concerned. But, I could not let him park so close to me unless he agreed that we wash it. Did not take us long. Just as we were finishing his up we got "busted" by the residential park "policeman". Jim paid the fine. Mine was shiny and dry already, no evidence we had washed it, ha.

Up and ready for coffee and donuts. Ice cream tonight, hurry Steve. Just kidding about the fine, but the guy meant buisness when he said, "yall can not do that here".

It's always the sneaky and stinky Ornamental gets caught.
In this case I throw myself at the mercy of the court. On the second
thought , I'm in Texas so I better not.
