Does anyone have build data that would tell what was the most produced floorplan/color scheme over the course of production and which was the rarest?

i.e. There were more 1973 Canyonlands built than any other, etc.

I happened upon this post and it didn't look like anyone answered the question, so I'll give it a go.

I believe the exact production figures were printed in one of the GMCMI newsletters long ago. I have a complete set at home, but I'll try to answer this off the top of my head. This is all IIRC...

1976 saw the most units produced of any model year, 1973-1978. In 1976, the most popular model was the Palm Beach. In fact around 25% of the total output of GMC Motorhomes are 1976 Palm Beach models. I'm less sure of this statistic, but I believe the Eleganza II had the greatest number of units produced overall.

The least-common GMC-produced model is the Coca-Cola, with only about 7 made.

I'm kind of a statistics geek. Can you tell?

Dave Greenberg answered this question when it was asked. But due to the differences between the web based forum and the e-Mail list, the thread was broken on the forum.

It happens... better to answer twice (or more) than never!

Anyway check these links:

Keep in mind records at GM did not seem to be the highest priority.
