If anyone has had a blowout on a GMC please speak up and tell us what
happened!

First I heard a bang and then the tire went flat.

Dave,
I ran over something on the way to GMCWS Palm Deser last yeart. Less
than 50 miles on new tires (steel belted). Poked a hole nearly an
inch in diameter in the tire. I walked the shoulder and never found
the obstacle but it must've been big and sharp to do that. The tire
went flat about as quick as if it had been a blowout. No damage. I
aired up one bag to 150 lbs, deflated the bag on the bad tire and
drove a mile or so to a church parking lot and changed it. Even
though I didn't purchase the optional road hazard warranty from
Discount, they happily replaced the tire for free.

Hi Dave,

THANKS for that report, DAVE.
I take it you had no problem with control.
Was it front or rear?
