The short answer is it works. If you didn't have problems with a particular situation before and you put one in, you probably wouldn't know it was there.
We left Thursay am for a trip to the desert, towing a 20' enclosed double axle trailer loaded with a v6 powered desert car, dirt bike, and all manner of other goodies. To leave we have to traverse a concrete v "arizona crossing" then go up a steep hill, down a hill and then ascend a steep right curving hill. In the past the two ascents required much vigor to make it at all, with slipping tires and drama. My wife was usually ready for her first cocktail of the day before the highway.
This time I just drove out.
So I would say it works fine.

Thanks. Good report since you're comparing previous experience without and
experience with. Good to know.

Maybe that will not be a bad idea. I'll have Grace push the coach with
her minivan into the convention if it breaks down again and no one
will know.

Oh, you are finally going to listen to me. I told you to do that last time.

Even the Japanese aren't clever enough to push a coach with a chain Jim.
