Maybe I've been buying gas caps in the wrong place every time I leave one at
the pump:

Has anyone added a key lock to the gas filler door, or is it just too
difficult to siphon gas that y'all don't worry about it?

Larry,

I got a mailbox lock and fitted it to the gas filler door and cut a slot in
the fiberglass for the "tongue" worked a treat.

I wasn't concerned with people siphoning gas I was more concerned with
people putting something in there.

Yeah, I know I'm a bit paranoid!

You can get a locking gas cap too.

I've got one. I did not install it. It was on my coach when I bought it. It looks like a simple installation.

Bob Burkitt also has one on his coach.

My coach came to me with a locking gas cap.
I suspect that the reason this locks along with every other exterior opening (except the reefer vent) and the spare chained to the mount is a reaction to the fact that the original owner used to take the coach to Mexico regularly.
The coach has nine keys.
It is kind of a pain.
