I am not sure enough of the year... but it sure looks like the pictures.
According to the article they only made 26 of the 1962 Gia's and sold for $13,500 in 1962, $95,000 in 2009 dollars.
While I do not think they made very many Vegas, I suspect they made more than 26. SO.... In equal condition, I think the Gia would be worth more.
For GMC content: With a 383.0-cu-in. V-8, do ya think it would make a good towd?

I'd have to guess a Ghia also. When I first show it, I thought it was a early 60's Facel until I remembered the Facel headlights were on top of one another and not side by side.

From the angle of Dan's photo, my first thought was the Loewy Studebaker as well but the front end threw me off. The body designs are sure similar. Wonder if Ghia borrowed a bit from Loewy or the other way around?
