Does anyone have pictures of a retractable table that retracts into the lower front portion of the side couch? I was told it used to be sold through camping world.

Randy,

Check Ken Henderson's pictures on the photosite for a homegrown
version.
I think Erv Troyer may have posted pictures of the original
version.

this is the one you are looking for, It goes flat under the couch and
then folds out on two wooded bow legs, all self supporting, with a big top.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=32446&title=table&cat=5391

I forgot to take a picture of it in the -out- position (bummer) but it is
owned by Manny ( who the hell is Manny?;>) Maybe he will send a picture
---- nah----

it was made by a guy and I think they were only sold to Camping World.....

every one wants one, now all we need is an entrepreneur to make them and we
will all buy one.

let me know if you find one on ebay and I will bid against you

Yeah, I knew it was Manny, but I didn't want to ask him directly, you know kind of like the majicians creed or something. They don't want to give away their secrets.

I still can't figure out how the support makes the turn, yet is stored beneath the sofa. My neandrethal engineered design would have a pivot on the wall at the end of the sofa and it would rotate up and lock on place completely cantilever. It's gotta be light though.

Are you sure Manny didn't supply Batman with all his neat toys?

I've had the table for over ten years and got it at Camping World.
I took it out once because someone was interested in copying it.
After looking it over, he decided it was harder to make than expected.

so as I see it, there are 2 products that should be built that will have an
almost unlimited market, for GMCers:

1 this table
2 the ceramic paper engine compartment kit

so who will step up to make and dist. these products?
they will get you a vendor spot at the rallys....
