A friend sent me a photo of a GMC, located in Woodbridge, VA. This is not one of the 4 or so that I know about in this area. 26 footer, painted basic white, with blue field and white stars on roof over cockpit, leading into a swoop across the side to the rear of the coach. Has original 16.5" wheels. 2 A/C's. Photo is of passenger side of vehicle. Has one of the 2nd generation windows (bottom slider), installed above the mid-wheel wheel. Has 3 long skinny windows installed between door and passenger seat, instead of the large window. Photo taken this week, you can see the snow. (Feb, 9, 2010). Will try to "see" it, if he gets back to me with a location.
Anyone know this coach?

Was told he has a air bag problem. I'll going to run over and see if I can help. The gas station in the picture is not answering their phone. We do have 22 inches of snow on the ground and it has started again.

Tom-
Pretty sure that Leigh has a few spare air bags.
Wish I was closer man, I'm dying of cabin fever.

Went looking for the GMC. The gas station attendant where he was photographed had no idea what I was talking about. Another 4th worlder working for minimum wage.
No call based from the Black List, so I guess that whomever is not carrying it. Bummer.
Leigh has 1 new air bag and of course, push comes to shove, he has an ample stock of his 4-bagger.
Snowing like the devil now, should get another 20 inches tonight. I don't know where I'm going to shovel it.

Tom Phipps,
Snowed-in in Virginia, or why did I leave Alabama?

Tom,

Tonight for a change we are only getting rain here. We are just a few miles south of the snow/rain line, but it should drop thru here heading south.

Oh, that sounds loverly! I sure do envy y'all: 30 inches of snow with a
few inches of rain on top of it, followed by VERY cold temperatures. Do you
plan to tour the sights in your GMC?

Sounds like a GREAT way to bring everything to a halt! :-)

Maybe it will last until the next election so Congress will leave us alone
until then.

Nope Ken, ANNIE is tucked away for a while. ....but the rain is washing the snow off her fast. I'd say half of the snow that we got in the last week to two weeks is now gone. Heavy cloud cover tonight and the ground that has been warmed over the last few days is keeping the air temperatures above freezing. What a difference a few miles makes.
