This one is worth the purchase price for the wheels/tires alone:

Looks to me like Weld wheels (16.5") rather than Alcoa.

I just got back from looking at it.

I got the TZE for Dave.

TZE033V101707 1973 23 foot Canyon Lands

Looks like original paint and decals. Decals are faded but the Pineapple Yellow paint looks like it could shine up fairly nice. 16" Weld wheels... non-hub centered. Tires look like they do not have any mileage but are at least 15 years old. Inside (other than the cockpit) looks stock, just a bit dirty. Cushions are in the back or in the closet. The pilot seat has been changed to some kind of car racing seat. It has two engine hatch covers. One stock and one raised with a clear cover.

Inoperable modified 455 motor. Looks like it had fuel injection installed at some time, but currently has an ugly non-stock carb. I have no idea what it is. The prior owner was a machinist for Boeing. I assume he had something to do with aircraft... lots of added gauges and other odds and ends. (like a transmission cooler in front of the left front wheel well.) The dash and some external parts of the motor have been disassembled. There is another carb somewhere in the parts but there is NO distributor.

I understand that the modifications where done 15 to 20 years ago. The last person to work on this coach developed a bad case of Alzheimers.... after he disassembled it. I got the impression has has since died. Sad, from looking at the modifications, it looks like he may have been fun to talk with. I suspect he thought of the coach more as a hot rod... not a motorhome.

Whoever ends up with this coach will spend lots of time puzzling out all of the changes.

The current owner, Dave Frentriss, also has a set of 6 brand new looking stock hub caps.

Took some pictures. I'll post some soon..

They DO look like Weld wheels but not 16.5's, they have 16 inch tires on them. They also have a pilot hole a little to big for our coaches.

I have posted some of the pictures taken last night.

Dave G. -- be sure and look at the last few pictures... VIN plate and the like.

The owner, Dave Frentriss, does also have 6 new looking OEM hubcaps that some might be interested in.

I have been told Dave is on the Black list.

Mike: Yes those are Weld wheels, they were available in 16" & 16.5", I have a set of each. The carb looks like a rare Thermoquad, maybe Mike Stewart could identify??

Thanks for the input... I just got done adding notes to many of the pictures. Some interesting modifications.
