Well, we're back in San Jose. Got here about 8pm. A nice long day
filled with plenty of conversation with Manny. If you ever get a
chance to get in a van with Manny for 14 hours, take it. Just broach a
subject, and the discussion will go on for an hour (or hours). Makes
the trip go fast. However, he really doesn't like to stop, even if
PoohBear has to take a leak. It was good to see Miguel, Dan and the
beautiful Teri. Miguel is really busy and has a lot of work hanging
around his new shop. Saw a Manx-SR (Manny has one of these) in Upland
while looking at some GMCs. Scored a copy of Windows XP Pro in Santa
Clarita. Ate at the Woolgathers Basque restaurant in Las Banos, and
picked up an engine trolley setup at JimK's place so we can start
taking Manny's engine out of his GMC tomorrow. Now it's time to take
some pills and get to bed. I love these kind of days.
