FMCA wants you!
Were you a member of a GMC chapter when many GMCs caravanned, and descended upon an FMCA International and stole the show over two decades ago?
FMCA - the giant umbrella over GMC motorhome club chapters - wants GMCers to participate in their regional and international rallies and will allow us to park together - even if we don’t arrive together! Not that caravanning isn’t part of the fun but. . . .well, it’s just hard to plan. We’re just back from the regional rally in Indio January 2010 - a great rally where WE PARKED CLOSE IN with other GMCers. Over 50 Roadtreks parked together at this rally this January. More and more of those 40 foot owners are looking at downsizing. The six small rigs on display got more action than the big rigs. GMCs are a great value and these rallies are a great advertisement for GMCs. Imagine the splash we’d get with our classic rigs!
What a way to expand our GMC footprint, meet and visit with fellow GMCers from other parts of the country, learn a few things, see the latest in motorhoming gadgets, etc. No GMC chapter can offer what FMCA provides for the money. Indio was three nights great entertainment, four mornings of coffee and donuts, numerous seminars including traveling in and outside the country, ice cream socials, coupons and prizes, and vendors and display coaches - we feel it’s five times the bang for the buck at an FMCA rally!
FMCA’s 83rd International Convention is relatively central - Albuquerque.
$144 gets you in for March 22-25, 2010.
The Rocky Mountain Area “Ramble” is in Farmington October 12-16, 2010. Let’s make a splash!
