I put tens of thousands of miles on my Ragusa tranny pan and had no
problems.
BUT, be careful with speed bumps-take them very slowly because in most
cases
when you come off the bump the pan is right there.

The advantages of the extra qt capacity, the fins for cooling and the
ability to
install a tranny temp gage make it worthwhile in my opinion.
