We had more coaches show up today. Don't tell Manny but I snuck a picture of his slide out onto our blog tonight. He does not like me putting his stuff on the net. He has one of the neatest interiors I have ever seen. Has moved everything around to suit himself. Wish I was so talented.

Dan Gregg and/or Steve Ferguson:

We will be spending tonight with several Pacific Cruisers members in Indio.
We should be getting into Quartzsite sometime tomorrow morning.

As we've never been there before, can you send me the coordinates of where
you are staying. Our site in the RV park may not open up until sometime in
the afternoon.

Thanks,

Fin Beven

Hey Steve;

Weather is BEAUTIFUL this morning. Looks to be a nice day. Manny
and Gene are just getting ready to leave. Any chance Nancy (or you)
have a 9" spring form pan? I need one to make a chocolate cake for you
guys.

Fin,
Chuck posted that the folks who run Rice Ranch request that we don't
show up until after 1:00PM. That is check out time for the folks who
are in our future spaces. Take your time. Do NOT gas up in Needles,
it is robbery even for Kalifornians. The cheapest gas is in
Quartzsite. There's a Love's just up the hill on your way into town.
From Google earth:
33.39' 34.53N
114.12' 58.43W

Take Exit 17, turn right on W. Main St. At the next intersection,
turn left on Kuehn St. Continue on Kuehn St to S. Central Blvd.
Cross S. Central Blvd, continue E. for about 100 yds, give or take,
the entrance to Rice Ranch is on your right. Easy to miss because of
all the vendors set up in the area.

Gary,
Cake is nice, but I'm bringing a few lbs of Nancy's spaghetti and
Italian sausage. There will be no room for cake!

I forgot to mention Fin,
You will see the string of GMCs after you pull into the parking area.
Bob Lamey's white Foretravel is usually the first in the string of
coaches. Park anywhere in that row as all the spaces are in that row.

Hey Steve;

Bert and I are going to go over to the battery store here in town
and pick a couple up (he had to replace his batteries when he got here
($99/ea). Mine are only charging up to 11.5V no matter how long I
charge them. I'm first going to check the water in them. If they need
water I'll hold off on getting the new batteries to see if I can get a
larger charge. If they are full, I'm just going to replace them.

I still need a 9" spring-form pan so I can make a Cracked Earth
Chocolate Cake for us and others. I'm really looking forward to the
spaghetti and sausage. I think I'll start running now so I'll be good
and hungry when you show up.

Gary, I have a 3 stage battery charger. Do you need to borrow it and see if you can get your batteries working? It has the rejuvination stage in it.
We are down here changing my brake booster now. Will be up in a few minutes.

Gary,
I'm not embarrased because I don't know what a spring-form cake pan
is, but Nancy is.
I don't think we have one.

I cant clean the lense. That spot is inside it. I thought someone might offer me a deal on a camera but not yet. My cameras do not last over 6 months. I refuse to pay over 50 bux for another camera. When I can find one for that price U will see pics with no spots.
I enjoy sharing our adventures. Had over 500 readers Sat and 497 Sun. I guess the word is out that I talk funny.
