And the authentic restoration steam was led by GMC owner and former GM
Plant Mgr, Don Mayton....

Actually, that was ANOTHER restore, it is the most original restore of them all, even the gear boxes and engines were restored.
However, Mr Maytons connection to the FIDO Futurliner was only in buying spare parts for the FuturLiner he restored. He had no hand in the FIDO restore.
