And I was also hoping for someone to chime on this thread to explain what makes this an 'aircraft' welder as opposed to a standard welder.
Larry,
This type of welder was used extensively in the 1960s and 70s in the construction industry and in factory maintenance. If I remember its a Lincoln welder and is just a DC current stick welder. In my world we called them peanut welders. They are a good welder easily moved on its wheels.

No, what the deal is is that it is raining cats and dogs out there,
it's a couple more weeks before I can go south and pick up that 23',
and all the projects in here are not interesting to me. So you didn't
