I know some of you are snowed in and must live vicariously through the adventures of others.

We left today for a 10 day outing, basically puttering up the California and Oregon coast. We will go as far as Depoe Bay, Oregon.

This is the first outing with the EBL computer running the fuel injection. (Runs like a top.)

Some ask, what kind of mileage do GMC Motorhomes get? The answer, often given here, is 9 to 10 MPG depending on whether or not you tow. We are not towing. However, we brought some things to our Daughter and her family, tonight. We recently cleaned out my parents home and so we had:

3 Book cases
1 Hanging mirror
1 Lamp and gigantic lamp shade
1 Chair
1 Stool
1 Hall Cadenza. (I have no idea what a cadenza is but that is what I am calling this thing. Perhaps hall thingy is a better word.)
1 Porch Swing

It was all inside the GMC, and we could still get up and down the hall.

So, while we are not towing this trip, the mileage on this leg may depend on how much stuff you cram into your GMC.

Have a great trip! Stop in Bandon OR... it's a great little town... picnic and park at the Coquille River(i think) lighthouse...very beautiful country! My motorhome is in storage near I-5 Red Bluff, going up Sat to get it ready to bring home for the first time.
