Good News!

Checked Lanny out of the hospital @ 1:00 this afternoon. Have him settled in the rehab facility here in town. Sure is good to be home! It's 2:30 a.m. & I'm doing last load of laundry. The trunk was full to the max, as was the back seat. They wanted him to leave with an oxygen tank (just in case), but he hasn't needed it, so that's good. He did well on the ride in my Lincoln, but he said if anything else happens, we're taking the GMC.

Thanks to all of your prayers & compassion, he's doing much better than they expected, & out of the hospital sooner than they had anticipated. I told him there were literally hundreds of people praying for him all over the states, Australia & England. We are truly grateful for every one of you & count you as special love gifts to us from our Faithful Lord! God bless y'all real good, & may He abundantly meet your every need as well.

Everyone stay warm out there. Thankful we got back to town before these low teens. Y'all travel safely & stay healthy. Thanks again for everything, dear GMCers. I love you dearly!!

Jim,

Will do. Taking him a few things now, including the latest FMCA Magazine & his cell phone. Rehab/physical therapy starts now. He sure misses you GMC guys. I reward his walking exercises by reading him the GMCNet emails. We wives do what we need to do to help our men get stronger so they can keep these beauties going (GMCs AND us.) Heart-felt thanks to ALL of our GMC Family around the world! We love & appreciate every one of you!

Thanks for that cute card, Gene & Joanie. He will get a kick out of it today. Hugs to all.

Dan & Gene,

Thank you for the kind words. Lanny suggested I go to our Cent. Tx. Lunch Bunch yesterday, so I did. It was great being with everyone. He is soooo ready to leave rehab & get back in our comfy Craftmatic adjustable / vibrating bed. Wonder if he will want to put one in the Avion when he stretches it. Remember, if y'all are ever in our area, give us a call. We're in the Black Book.
