Thanks. I suspect all of my problem's in the back piston area, about which
I've found no service information. I do have an exploded parts list, but
the suspect part's not even identified. Not looking good. :-(

Some time ago I saw a YouTube video of a guy who made a small motor out of a Sanden compressor - on his way to remaking it as an engine, he takes it apart, bit by bit. Worth a look IMO

What’s the warranty period on the Sanden?
My 91 ZR1 has one as engineers had no room for a Harrison R4. That’s why ZR1s had the heat reflective gold windshield, to make up for weaker AC. Not as good as a base C4.
