Alex was a fiend to all. Would give you the shirt off his back. Bend over
backwards to help however he could. And he could and did.

He will be missed greatly by many. He leaves many friends, myself included
who grieves his passing.

My sincere condolences to his wife, Lori. A very giving soul herself.

I'm just crushed. He was bulletproof! Running from coach to coach
constantly, tirelessly helping others.

Sincerely
Billy Massey :-(

I am devastated to hear that I will no longer be able to talk and learn
from him.
He was a great teacher and contributor.
Grace and I give Lori our condolences.

Alex Ferrara! What a great man.

Everytime I open up the engine compartment door to check my oil level, "
*#143*" written in sharpie is staring back at me, reminding me of Alex, and
his devotion and service to our GMC community!

He will be fondly remembered by many of us as we're at the wheel, guiding
our coaches down broad Interstates and curving mountain roads with minimum
steering effort.

Thank you Alex!!! We are so blessed to have had you touch our coaches and
lives.

Lenore and I send our condolences to Lori for her loss, and thanks for
sharing Alex with all of us.

I think of him , and will continue to think of him, every time I take my hands off the steering wheel of the GMC, and it continues to track straight down the road.

A Terrible loss to the GMC community and his family.

I feel that any GMCers that have not yet been vaccinated should rethink their reluctance to being vaccinated.
I think Alex would still be with us if he had.
Please— please think about it!
We want you to be around a long time.

Alex has taught all of us one final truth with his passing. Please do not
procrastinate, get the vaccine, or it might be the last thing you ever put
off until tomorrow. So sad, our fondest sympathies to the family.

Many things are not always equal.

Unfortunately, a brother in law was fully vaccinated, and while in the hospital contracted Wuhan/CCP/Covid and died.

Fortunately or not, we both (one at a time) were infected with something that fit the description and symptoms and except that I now have a perpetual cough, there were no lasting effects. I am careful where I cough.

This is good for us because with both have issues that make the vaccines very problematic. This is something that requires due diligence.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him but was immensely excited to get to sit and talk with him one of these days. A true legend amongst the GMC folks, I haven't met anyone that didn't bring him up on conversation almost immediately as soon as the GMC topic popped up.

Feels like I and many others have truly missed a bright light in our lives by never having had the pleasure of meeting him.

There are MANY GMC personalities that we all know through this web
presence. Totally difficult to explain to anyone outside of our community.
I tried to explain it to my son and he had no clue. Not sure if I know why
either. But I accept it for what it is. A tight knit family. Just not
related by blood but by a machine. Alex was one of us. We all miss him like
a brother.
