A 59-year-old man want to his son's house. He didn't know that he had Covid. Gave it to his son, his daughter in law, and his only grandson that was 9. The grandfather survived. Friday. He went to three funerals. All because he didn't want the government. Infringing on his civil rights. He still has all his civil rights. He can be prowled. But at what a cost? For the rest of his life. You don't get the vaccine for yourself. You get it for the ones that you love.
Ken Henderson made a similar remark yesterday? Why? Because of the ones around us. That we LOVE. Bob Dunahugh.

Bob Dunahugh.
That is a good story, but there is too much wrong with the situation and we are not getting straight answers from anybody.
By definition, what they are offering is not a "Vaccine". It does not confer immunity. There is a great deal of misinformation out there.

We are quite certain that we both had the disease in the late summer last year. This ruined our plans for our anniversary. At that time the only determination was to match symptoms. Anti-body tests have been inconclusive.

I have a very personal fear because those available to us both contain aluminum in nano particles. If you do not know, aluminum plaque found in brain tissue is one of positive indicators of Alzheimer's. On my mother's side, there is a history of Alzheimer's.
Both of those available to us have been heavily linked to blood clots. A little while back, Mary had a cryptogenic stroke that almost cost her the use of her left hand. It was treated in time and the effects have been minimal. But she still is having a hard time with her guitars.

This is not to discourage those that do not have medical history that does not indicate risk, but I suggest that each do his own due diligence about the matter. We will get through this together.

At least take Vitamin D3 and Zinc,
It is a fact that they enhance your immunity.
As a courtesy wear a mask in case one might have the virus and not know.
It seems that even the Flu shots contain mercury and other minerals that
makes one wonder.
Since I spend time Testing and Certifying Biohazard Hoods, I had to take
the shoot

I agree with Jim K. D3 and Zink. Prevention is everything.

Israel and Ireland both have extremely high vaccination rates and both are still experiencing High Covid-19 Rates as we speak.

If you didn't get your delta variant vaccine, no worries we are already onto the MU variant from South America. The vaccine does not prevent you from spreading the virus and doesn't stop the Delta and MU variants. More variants are to come.

If you want vaccine after vaccine it is your right, leave others alone because it is their right and the vaccine has NO effect on you passing the virus on to others. So this story is mute.

I hope this site does not become another battle ground for those who chose to get the vaccine pushing it on others. Can we keep it GMC Motorhomes?

My thoughts on something I didn't expect to see here,
Tom K.

Matt— no Covid vaccines in USA have aluminum or mercury. I checked because I am allergic to to thimerosal a mercury compound. Now ADMIN please don’t ban me for commenting on someone else's non GMC thread, like before

Thanks Billy! Actually a gutted GMC would make a great mobile vaccination clinic vehicle if upfitted into one. Like the blood donation mobiles they used Transmodes for in the 70s. Nice lounge chairs etc.

Whether Bob's story is accurate or not it is sad. I know 2 people
personally that died from the virus one younger and in great health and one
older. I got the vaccine because I believe it was the right decision. I
still wear a mask regardless because I care about others. Everyone has
rights, do the best you can as a human being to help put an end to this.

My post was listed as OFF TOPIC. That OFF TOPIC has been used for many, many years. It's a way to clarify its lack of GMC content. Read it. Or Delete it. You're not being forced to read it. So, don't. No harm. No foul. That way.
But in a way, it wasn't totally OFF TOPIC. Been in various GMC related clubs for 18 years. Met some great people. And some have now died. They will be greatly missed by all of us that knew them. GMC clubs have had to cancel some great events. And the numbers of attendees have dropped off. It's a sad situation. The numbers indicate that the vaccine, and mask help. Maybe you disagree. I go by what the CDC says. Some may say that I must be gellable for that. Fine. Think what you want.
I've had some close friends die lately. That have refused to get the vaccine, or put on a mask. That story that was on our local news. (That some have said was BS. ) That news report was the last straw for me. It made me sick. Thinking of the friends that I'll never see again. Of the GMC people that are gone. The effect on GMC clubs. And other clubs that I'm a member of.
So. I'm sorry that I've offended some here. I care about those around me. And probable too much. I was wrong in putting out that post. Bob Dunahugh.

It is truly a sad story. Is it true? Don't I don't know - I don't have a way to independently verify it. Unfortunately I have had a personal experience with some friends who were young and healthy dying after getting COVID. At the same time, some of the friends family members who were older had survived the infection (after a long battle with the illness). How to explain it? I don't know...
There is no easy or clear way to predict if you are going to be lucky or unlucky if you were to get infected. Additionally, it turns out that having COVID once does not prevent you from getting it again (I know people who battled it several times).

Vaccines do not confer immunity, they add a layer of protection. You can think of it as they prime your body to start beating the virus before it gets too far in the infection cycle.

BTW, there are no nano particles or metals in the US vaccines. When vaccines were initially rolled out they did list one of the ingredients as "lipid nano particles". What this means, it has a lipid envelope (quite literally a fat bubble) to contain mRNA and to help it get transported through the cell membrane. Looking back, this is probably a very unfortunate way to label things. Also, please understand, mRNA does not get inserted into your DNA and it does not modify your genes in any way. mRNA is a molecule which is used to manufacture or "print" a protein that is a component of the virus outer shell (not a protein that causes infection ether). This protein triggers immune system to produce antigens to COVID, so when a real virus comes along, your body is already familiar with the intruder and is ready to fight it before too many viral particles are spread through your body. I'm not a virologist, so I can't tell you how long this protein or the antigens remain in your body, but mRNA itself gets chopped up and destroyed by your body in about 48-72 hours. It is the same process that happens to ANY mRNA that your own body produces naturally every second of every day of your life.

In any way, please mask up, get vaccinated if you are able to and be patient. We are all in this together. Remember - E pluribus unum.

I do agree that we still don’t understand this virus, I kinda wonder about if it was engineered. Anyhow, understand some have health reason why they can’t have the vaccine, please stay safe and protect yourselves and your loved ones. I for one would hate to see anyone here on the web become a victim. As for young folks that might have died from it I know of 2 in our local hospital. One completely healthy 24 year old man and a expected mother who had to deliver her baby at 7 months. She later passed because she refused the doctors treatments and was yelling at the nurses and doctors who were trying to help her. Even when she was deathly ill she was calling all of it a hoax. I have a close friend who works in the surgery ward that gives us weekly reports from this hospital. My doctor is also the director of the Covid team at the hospital. She told me 98% of their patients are non vaccinated. Like I said, for sure the experts have alot more to learn on this but we do know what protects us and our loved ones. I would suggest talking with your doctors on the issue. Thank you Bob for posting on this issue!
