Most of the parts places around here are very familiar with the 455 but when you ask about the 403 they get all puzzled looking and ask "what's that?" and "are you sure it ain't a 455? etc?" so to save those poor parts persons delving through reams of catalogs, anyone know the size or # offhand?

I will look in interchange, but I suspect they are the same 2.25” part as 455. Interchange makes no distinction for 403 or 455 so should be same part.

Thanks for the help guys, I met an actual parts person today and we compared the leaky one after I took it out and matched it up to a WALKER 31398. Maybe of some help to the next guy, this is what you need.

Perfect fit, and the motor is purring like a sleeping lion. Bonus was when we looked underneath the coach we saw the brand new custom stainless muffler and pipes. So pretty and not even blued up to much yet. Beautiful!
