Have to haul a 403, a trans, and a final drive in a 75 GM built GMC. Then with a Tracker in tow. About 200 miles from Cedar Rapids Iowa. So. How can I get these three items loaded for transport? In the GMC and Tracker? Anyone have good numbers of each item? As to weight.

Bob,

I don't have good numbers for those items, but I'd bet the 3 together will
be near 1000 lbs. Too much for the Tracker's small cargo area, regardless
of the weight. I'd suggest checking with shippers, perhaps Fastenal, and
see if it will all fit on a big, STURDY, pallet for them to transport.

I'm sure Y'All don't want any of that stuff inside the GMC -- nor will you
have a safe way to tie it down anyway.

Bob,

While I am completely certain that the cargo as listed will be between 800 and 1000#, even if you took the rear seats out of the tracker the load would be more than it will carry safely.

Didn't you have a trailer for 2 race cars?
Load the Tracker and tie the engine and trans together on that.

Have someone drive the tracker rent a small u haul trailer to carry the parts. Or leave the tracker home this trip and rent the trailer.

Put the final drive in the Tracker pass floor board, the tranny in the back of the Tracker and place the 403 inside the GMC door on the floor?
