Joe,
That's a good looking Westy. I often miss my bus, such a fun and easy to work on vehicle. But it is very small for a family.

lets not kid ourselves, the VW would be small for one person...
76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center...

I'm in Palmyra WI, half way between Milwaukee and Madison. Give me a call if you wish. I'm on the Black list and do PM's here on the GMCForum.
I'd be happy to show you our work in progress. It is still on the jack stands, in a heated barn, for another week or two and thus it would be easy to show you some of the things you should look for when buying a GMCMH.

Steve,
That would be a fantastic offer. I have looked at 3 locally, but none of them have really fit what we are looking for in one way or another. I would love to swing out and take a look at your project sometime.

I had mine out for some exercise and was approached by someone who wanted to know if I wanted to buy another one. I told them I didn't but would be happy to look at it for them and give my opinion. I will keep you in mind when I take a look at it. I believe it is a 76 or 77 PB.

I live in Menomonie Wi. (near Eau Claire) Good friends with John B. Be glad to help if you find something in our area. Both John and I could look a it....or just one of us. I bought mine without an experienced GMC'r to help. Spent a lot of time and $$$ on a "great coach..fly-in and drive it home" coach. We were lucky we made it 1200 miles home. Don't be afraid to ask.
