Beautiful coach Ken. Couple questions.
1- I only see one bed? Does it fold out or something?
2- There is a riser on top of the engine cover. Is that just a spacer to get your table to the correct height or is your engine 'taller' for some reason?

Rob, et all,
It can be a problem in mounting a microwave in our coaches. In our 77
Eleganza it came with an under cabinet mount on the upper cabinet just
left of the stove for a small microwave. Worked great when in use,
but you have to take it down for travel to be safe. When I did the
total interior remodel of that coach, I looked at a large number
installations of cooktop and microwaves. Some were mounted high, some
on the counter top and some were mounted low or under the cooktop
where the oven used to be. Asked the owners what they did and did not
like about their installation. Hands down the WIVES, better know as
the BOSS in the kitchen area hated the low or under the cooktop
installation. It was hard to use and you had to get on your knees to
see and set. The counter top setup was also less liked. The most
popular was the eye level or under cabinet installation.
The following pictures are how we installed a Sharp model 820
Convection/microwave unit. The Sharp unit is somewhat deeper than a
conventional microwave so I had to allow for the extra depth. I
actually made a mockup of the Sharp unit so I could check the fit
before final assembly. The mockup is considerably lighter that the
real unit.

back up the wall of the coach and exit from the original location on
the body.

The space that was occupied by the oven was convert to valuable
storage space and a new door was fabbed up.

I also have a 1975 Avion model. I plan to do an installation similar
to this to get the unit up higher. The area where the stove/oven will
be turn into extra storage. Although there is a window in that
location, how many times do you actually look out of it and it is a
non opening window. The window will still be there and provide
daytime light for the counter top.
As for venting I already have an idea on how to handle that.

I'm not Gene.
Here's my suggestion. Get a Mac. Use Keynote to make a slide show. Save it
as a PDF. You'll be good to go and not have a stupid commercial on each
slide for something else.

I can't believe that I will ever be wealthy enough to own a Mac anything (other than a device address). It happens that this is not an issue at all in this case. Both Open Office Impress and Corel Presentations will save a file as *.pdf. The only problem with this as a distribution is that only the end frame is printed, so all the fancy schancy that you built into the show are lost.
Why didn't I mention PP? Because the computers I still have working are still owned by the company and so - by MS rules - are not eligible for MSO home/student, only the 430+$us(ea) small business package. If they actually provided support, that might change my opinion. When they couldn't fix the problems I had with the three full price licenses I had for 2003 and finally suggested that maybe an upgrade (at full price) to the newer might cure the print issues, I went back to Corel.
Open Office also has a lot to offer, but parts of it just don't work all that well. Then there is MS Works, talk about an oxymoron. Corel went them one better with Corel Office. This is low cost (cheap) package that works as well an MSW and seems to be more compatible the MSOffice and is missing almost all of WordPerect's best features.
It doesn't matter what you do. Someone is out there trying his best to make things that should be simple, more difficult.

Beautiful Job, that is similar to what we want to do. Single compartment sink,
we have a 3 burner Dometic glass covered cook top to install. VERY NICE!
Can I ask where you purchased the sink ??? I like the size of it.

in mounted sideways and an IKEA sink also sidways. Standard Lowes 24" 12" and
24" bases. Backsplash from countertop cut off and custom Stainless backsplash/
transition will be installed in the next couple weeks. I manufactured a duct to
exhaust vent to top of microwave to allow functional use of vent.

The over the range microwaves have their exhaust on the very top of the oven, with the option to switch from top exhaust or back exhaust, I was a tin knocker in the Navy (Aviation Structural Mechanic)I made a contoured "box" to fit in the void between the back of the MW and the coach wall. The coach existing opening will not be centered, but you simply cut the openings to match you oven,I sealed everything with metal tape and sealed the rectangular opening for the MW with high density foam weatherstrip.

Ray, I am a general contractor. The piece of top I used was salvaged from a convenience store remodel, and I fabricated everything myself. The undermount sink was an internet item and was under $100.00. The stove was from Colaw RV salvage (surplus) and was under $90.00. It still cost me more than I expected it to, about $400 - 500.00.

So, you used an over-the-range microwave. I thought of that but haven't found a suitable unit yet. Our microwave does need to be replaced. It works fine, but the PO had the Onan set too high and the high voltage evidently burned up the display. You have to guess at it.
