Well, got the genny running by gravity feeding gas (had to literally
fill the hose with gas before it would fire and then it would just
consume the gas in the hose and then die). I also gave the fuel pump a
good wack. I don't know if that helped but it felt good. Starts right
up, we'll see if it does so in the morning too.

Now to work out why the AC doesn't work when the genny is running...

Did you plug the shore power cord into the socket as required?

Sir: thats the first thing I would have done. Smile Also wd-40 is a good starting fluid and not as volitle as either. As Bob said check to see if it is plugged in to the coach, also there should be a switch or reset button, or fuse in or on the box on top for AC output.
good luck

Just a thought...

Why did smacking the fuel pump help?

A normal problem with these pumps is lack of use. The fuel in the pump evaporates and leaves a film (varnish) on all the parts. The internal parts are a metal slug (aka Piston) and a check valve. They could be gummed up fairly good with varnish. Smacking it will loosen the parts and allow them to work. But unless you use it very often (running solvent (fuel) through it), it will gum back up rather quickly.

SO... To make it reliable, clean it or use it!

It is fairly easy to clean.

This is a new fuel pump, so I didn't think lack of use would have been
an issue. It had started easily before, then didn't due to low fuel in
the tanks. I added gas and it started. Then it didn't. Added even more
gas, still wouldn't start. Now it does. This is over a span of 4-6
months. I did add Seafoam to the gas today and hopefully that will help
clean it out.

Maybe an inline 1/4" filter before the pump filter. Works for me. I also just had to replace fuel lines that I replaced 3 years ago. The main line frome the switching valve forward sprang pin hole leaks and looked like a soaker hose.
